What this site collects, which is not much.
Pots & Soil is a flat-file site run by one person. There is no user account, no login, and no advertising network following you around.
What gets collected
- Analytics. Aggregate page views, referrers and rough country, with no cookies and no cross-site tracking. I use it to see which guides are useful.
- Your email, if you give it. Only if you ask for the container size chart or the fortnightly email. It's stored with the newsletter provider, used to send you those emails, and nothing else. Unsubscribe is in every email and it works immediately.
- Whatever you put in an email to me. Kept in my mailbox, not added to any list.
Affiliate links
Outbound product links carry a tag so the retailer knows the visit came from here. Once you land on Amazon or another retailer, their privacy policy applies, not this one.
Your data
Ask me to delete your email address and it's gone the same week. Email hello@potsandsoil.com.
